These services are offered within the communities, or at our Adoption and Humane Education Centre. These programs are performed in conjunction with local Veterinarians and animal care technicians.

These clinics offer spay/neuter clinics, wellness exams, vaccinations, minor treatments, behaviour consulting, and counselling on the benefits of spay/neuter, and when needed referrals are made to appropriate veterinary clinics for additional or follow-up treatments. The program also offers monthly transportation arrangements of pets from remote and Indigenous communities without access to adequate veterinary care to veterinary clinics in Prince George and surrounding communities.

This program promotes animal welfare by allowing owners to ensure pets are provided with the necessary vet treatment rather than surrendered to an animal shelter. Vaccinations and routine care ensure pets do not create disease outbreaks in communities and encourage increased community support for general animal welfare. Spay/neuter clinics help mitigate overpopulation and lower the risk of dog bites within the community.
