Wellness clinics
In partnership with local veterinary clinics we host weekly wellness clinics at the Prince George Humane Society.
Indigenous and Remote Communities
On Indigenous and remote communities, we offer spay/neuter clinics, wellness Clinics, Humane Education Programs, Behaviour Management Consulting, and Bite Prevention. These services are offered within the communities, or at our Adoption and Humane Education Centre. These programs are performed in conjunction with local Veterinarians and registered animal care technicians.
birthday parties
The Prince George Humane Society offers furry fun-filled parties with tons of interactions with animals of all kinds, behind the scenes tour, activities, a hot dog lunch, snacks, fruit and veggies and a goodie bag for each kid. Birthday parties are perfect for children that love animals.
shelter tours & school visits
Shelter tours are for all ages which includes interactive games, activities, and cuddle time with Humane Society animals. Kids will learn about responsible pet ownership and animal welfare while having fun.
kids camps - resuming in 2025
We're all about teaching kids to be animal heroes and environmental champions. We'll equip your youngsters with super tools to make the world awesome for everyone – humans, animals, and even the planet.
Tales for rescue readers
This unique reading program helps both kids and animals deal with their respective challenges. Children in the program learn empathy towards animals while practicing their reading skills in an encouraging environment.
